USA National Prep Basketball Championship
Guidelines for Tournament Play
The guidelines listed below are intended to balance the benefits of team sports with the needs for public health and safety. Support and cooperation from all participants and their families regarding these COVID guidelines as well as the policies set forth will help to keep everyone safe. Failure to do so may result in your removal from the facility and/or event.

Staff Protocols

All staff members will perform daily symptom checks and sign off that symptoms are not present prior to their shift.

All staff members will have their temperature taken prior to their shift.

Staff members will adhere to all social distancing guidelines.

If there are interactions with spectators, staff members MUST sanitize hands immediately after interaction.
Athletes and Coaches Protocols

Coaches, players, and game personnel will have their temperature taken upon arrival at the facility each day. Any participant with a temperature over 100.4 degrees will be asked to leave.

Teams/athletes MUST bring their own water bottles/drinks and towels. Teams are required to also bring their own warm-up balls.
Venue Protocols

MUST bring their own mask. If they do not bring their own mask, spectators can purchase them upon check-in.

Sanitation team in charge of regularly cleaning common surface areas such as doorknobs, counters, courts, team benches and spectator seats. We will disinfect high contact surfaces after every game.
Admission and Payment Options

We will not provide change.

This will limit the number of contact between spectators and our staff.

We will use contactless payments so everyone can pay via card to limit interactions.

When spectators touch common surfaces such as the iPad when paying, we will use disinfectant wipes to clean the surface after each spectator.

Game Play​

There will be a 10-minute dead period in between each game to ensure proper disinfecting and cleaning.

All game day officials at the scores table will be required to wear a mask.
